As blossoms emerge, monitor for strawberry bud weevil, tarnished plant bug, and thrips.
Bloom is the critical time for frost control.
Apply fungicide for botrytis at 10% bloom.
Note any new changes in pesticide (insecticide, fungicide, herbicide) registrations. Changes may have occurred in pesticide labels in the past year.
On new plantings, weed control in the establishment year is critical for lifetime productivity.
