Trap Catches for 2003 and 2004 at Selected Orchards by Region

By Jean Ciborowski, MDA

Below there are links to pages that contain graphs for four orchards, one from each of the main apple growing regions. The graphs show trap catches for insect pests included in the MDA summer apple insect monitoring program. Lines that do not connect indicate that data was missing for that week. The weeks correspond to the dates listed in the tables. Apple maggot (AM) information is provided for nine weeks of the season and represents catches from 3 spheres. For all other insects, seventeen weeks of trapping information have been included and trap catch numbers represent one trap per insect per location per year. Information on generations per year is taken from the MDA Field Guide for Apple Pests available at: www.mda.state.mn.us/ipm/applefg/

Thanks again to all our cooperators!!!
