Asian soybean rust is not just a concern for soybean growers. Due to its potential for injury to several legume crops, there is a new fungicide now labeled for snap bean and peas, given the possibility of the development of Asian soybean rust on several bean and edible legumes in 2005. Headline® (BASF) fungicide is a broad spectrum fungicide that works by stopping spores as they germinate, which prevents them from infecting plant tissue.
