To Our Readers,
For the past 10 years, we have been very fortunate to receive partial funding for the Minnesota Fruit and Vegetable IPM News through partnership agreements with the Minnesota Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association (MFVGA) and the United States Department of Agriculture – Risk Management Agency (USDA-RMA). We would like to take this opportunity to thank the MFVGA and the USDA-RMA for providing us with the money to produce the IPM News. Unfortunately, our funding was not renewed for the 2009 season.
We are now looking at ways to continue providing IPM information to our readers. We have come up with a tentative plan. As of this final 2008 issue, we plan to continue publishing the IPM News in an on-line PDF version only. This will continue to be a collaborative effort of the MDA and the University of Minnesota.
All of our readers who currently receive the mailed, hard copy version will need to send Jeanne Ciborowski an email (jeanne.ciborowski@state.mn.us) requesting that their name and e-mail address be added to the IPM News e-mail notification list. A message is sent to the list when a new issue of the newsletter is put on-line. The 2009 IPM News will be “housed” on the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) web site at: www.mda.state.mn.us/plants/pestmanagement/ipm/ipmnews.htm
