Bug-Web Volunteers, Thank you!

Bill Hutchison & Ken Ostlie, Dept. of Entomology, University of Minnesota.

Thanks again to the MANY volunteers who provided the ECB and CEW moth catch data this year; often sending in your data twice/week. We could not provide the rapid turnaround of moth-catch graphs without your help! This project is funded in part by the Midwest Food Processors Assoc. (MWFPA), Madison, Wisconsin. With the 2nd year of funding in 2001, we were able to purchase more CEW traps, and distribute traps to more cooperators. If you have not checked the BugWeb site recently, you will note additional CEW Trap sites were added for MN and IA. The IA locations provided an excellent early warning system for MN growers in 2001. We hope to expand this further in 2002. As in previous years, all cooperators and their company organizations are credited on the web site. See BugWeb at: http://www.mnipm.umn.edu/Bugweb/
